English Abstract

The developments of knowledge and scientific revolutions in various fields of science, as a result using of scientific methods and the exploitation of modern technology, also indicate a lot of modern scientific evidence suggests that human societies experiencing along with the information explosion and cognitive, scientific revolutions in biomedical and biological aspect brought about changes radical and dangerous reflected on all aspects of life, as a legal and criminal science in general and especially the subject of legal proof, immune to these developments, which make it necessary, as it was obliged to keep pace with this development and exploitation in his favor and take advantage of it positive.

Among the most important evolution in biology is the cognitive revolution in genetics and the discovery of genetic fingerprint and the legacy of the impact on different areas of life, where it was utilized in the medical, industrial, agricultural …, but the most important areas that was used the fingerprint manifested in the field of proof of legal both civil or criminal, and that because of the importance and sensitivity of its connection to members of communities and attachment to their rights and freedoms and personal as well as the close of its connection to the sanctity and holiness of the human body, a factor that motivated me to look at this subject entitled to: Importance of DNA in Criminal Evidence, targeting behind it know genetic fingerprint and is characterized , the methods used and exploited, then go to their importance in the field of legal proof.
