Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the impact of PQ4R strategy on achievement and thinking of high grade in the physics subject of the students of the fourth year.

To achieve this, the researcher chose the middle school of boys in Baghdad.

The sample of the study was 69 students from the fourth grade, (34) students for the experimental group and (35) students for the control group.

The researcher s formulated (256) behavioral objectives within the levels of (6) according to Bloom's classification of the cognitive field.

The researchers prepared a collection test consisting of (47) also prepared a choice of high-grade thinking towards the physics material (30) ascertained , the research found the following results :-The students of the pilot group, who studied according to the PQ4R strategy To students in the control group who studied according to the usual method in the final achievement test and method in the test of high - grade thinking towards physics After interpreting these results, the researcher made several recommendations and then suggested valid proposals for research and experimentation.
