Poverty is a very complex issue, it has become a global problem that affects the majority of both developed and developing countries.

Under liberalism and the forces of market economy system, globalization contributed significantly in deepening poverty, where it created significant differences between incomes not only at the global level, but within the same communities as well.

In this matter, the Islamic economic system, may possibly be examined as an alternative for the reduction of poverty, and this throughout Sharia law mechanisms.
