Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigate of using based on multimedia Program (Lecture Maker) on the recitation skills of Holy Qur’an and the motivation to learn it among 8th grade basic students in light of their self-competencies.

The study sample consisted of (43) Male students from 8th grade level in Al Rwad Academy school in Amman during the year 2015 / 2016.

The study sample was divided randomly into two groups : the experimental group which consisted of (23) students and the control group which consisted of (20) students.

In order to achieve the aim of the study, the researcher developed of the study tools which included a motivation towards learning recitation scale and selfcompetencies scale.

The study results unveiled that there are a statistical differences in using the teaching multimedia Program (Lecture Maker) on the increasing motivation to learn it.

for students of the experimental group, the result showed that there was no effect caused by the interaction between using multimedia Program (Lecture Maker) and self-competencies on developing the motivation for there more, the effect of the teaching multimedia Program in developing selfcompetencies and students motivation did not differ according to the differences in the levels of selfcompetencies of students either high or low level.
