This study aims to trace the manifestations of Jewish immigration to the city of Jerusalem during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

The city of Jerusalem is a sacred place for Jews, as is the case with other religions, Christianity and Islam, where they migrated to the holy city on intermittent times.

Islamic tolerance toward Jews has facilitated their relocation to Jerusalem; this was clearly demonstrated after the collapse of the city of Granada and the departure of Muslims and Jews from Spain Jews were treated well by the Mamluks in their late rule of Jerusalem, and then the Ottomans followed them in the same manner of good treatment.
