This study aimed at exploring features of the textual coherence in “the last paper, the southern’’ poem by Amal Donqul, which was the last before his death.

The study also highlights the poet’s vision which reflected his suffering from the illness, loneliness, poverty, etc...

In addition, the study shows the harmony between the lexical fields and semantic structure and their impact on forming the entire image of the poem.

The effect of the textural conherence is shown in forming the images of the end and the death.

It also highly observed through the implementation of the various textual coherence elements.
