Abstract EN

This research followed the father's status and his image in the poetry of Arab women in the pre-Islamic and Islamic times.

It consists of two sections: 1.

the father's position at his daughter in general, and where he traced his position to his daughter, love and fear.

2.

The father's image in his daughter's poetry, in which she followed the picture that the girl drew for her father, whether moral or sensual.

The research concluded with conclusions and recommendations
