English Abstract

concerned with the development of an applicable web security pattern language.

The presented work involved the development of a new pattern template suitable for web security patterns.

This template was inspired by seminal work in the field of software design patterns, and it focuses on the applicability of web security patterns in the development of real-world applications.

The work presented enables web software developers to fortify their solutions by utilizing a wide range of web security patterns extracted from the presented pattern language.

Detailed pattern implementations are a key contribution of this research as they provide developers with a swift and efficient methodology for developing security-critical web applications.

The presented research will lead to the development of more advanced CASE tools which utilize the presented pattern language.
