Abstract EN

This study aims at studying the textual paratext in the contemporary Algerian poem and searches its artistry characteristics.

This is because the poem is a discourse that includes, in addition to its aesthetic value and metaphorical pattern, paradigms and textual texture which used tobe considered superficial and secondary, but they become compulsory texts which could not be ignored or do without these in the texture overall of the poem which become amputated without a textual paratext that offers it new artistic dimension based on poetical creativity and artistic pattern around which poetry and its framework revolve and which goes with the poetics of the text.

This is so because it constitutes the source of fascination and seduction or the source of distaste and repulsion.

This depends on how smart the poet deals with it.
