English Abstract

The process of testing the holy river is an important means to prove the innocence of the accused or not, and this test was applied to all groups of society kings and queens and God and other groups of society and the refusal to go to the river test leads to loss of the case.

The process of testing the river at dawn after the defendant is detained in the temple or anywhere else under strict guard, and the accused had to divide the island around his crime.

There are indications that the river testing process will take place in April, ie the high season of the waters of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

The cuneiform texts indicate that there are two types of test, namely the one-sided test, one party that goes for the sacred test and the double or collective test, which sends the parties to perform the holy test.

In the ancient Babylonian era, the phenomenon of the appearance of the alternative in the river test was common, rather than the servant and the mother instead of her daughter and wife instead of her husband, And that the defendant must wear red clothes during the process of river testing, and he has to jump in the river and not thrown after being led to the edge of the river sloping or rugged or with the stream of water.

The laboratory has to swim for a certain distance with or against the current, and there are specific places to conduct a river test in the Euphrates River near the city of Hit, and Spar north of Babylon on the Euphrates River.

While others see that the river-testing process was taking place in any river, including the ongoing kanaoua.
