Abstract EN
In this paper, the researcher aims to verify some names in Sakaka and to demonstrate the relationship between the spoken language, the standard Arabic, and the Semitic languages.
This research is an attempt to document some of the semantic features in the region.
The researcher highlights how Semitic languages influenced each other in areas of semantics of some vocabulary.
The researcher has found that some vocabularies belong to the common Semitic, and others are related to one of the Semitic languages and do not belong to Arabic.
The researcher has also found that the verbal narratives, which are circulated by the people of Sakaka regarding naming some regions, are not related to the scientific research.
