The book "News of Time in the History of Bani Abbas" for Khazraji of important historical books, because of the news of the sons of Abbas, which is part of the book (Alosdp Almstok in the history of Islam, the layers of kings, ranked on the years starting from the emergence of Islam, (Peace be upon him) and his children, and then began with the successors of the Abbasid state (the succession of Abu Abbas Al-Saffah) to the Caliph (Al-Khayafa Al-Nasir to the religion of God) while the other Caliphs neglected.

This book is one of the important historical books that have been dated for a political period from the history of the Arab Islamic nation, which extended over a large area of the country, which included most of the Islamic countries.

This book talks about the Abbasid caliphs and their roles towards the Arab Islamic state.

As well as the importance of this book of poetry verses of the various poets known in that period.
