The study problem identified the social and economic problems faced by family care providers for Alzheimer patients in Saudi Arabia, The study aimed at identifying the social and economic problems faced by family care providers for Alzheimer patients, which are descriptive studies based on the social survey methodology by sample.

The study community identified family care providers for Alzheimer patients in Saudi Arabia.

The study relied on a questionnaire distributed 141 families Care providers for patients with Alzheimer at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh Security Forces Hospital, Al Noor Hospital in Makkah and King Fahd Medical City in Dhahran.

The results revealed that the most serious problems were social problems.

The most important social problems: suffering from lack of social support from the institutions of society, The family care providers leisure time is reduced due to care for the patient, visits of relatives are reduced due to care of the patient, and the most important economic problems are: the provision of a maid or nurse to care for the patient constitutes a financial burden on the family care providers of Alzheimer patients.
