Abstract EN

Nizar Qabbani is a poet who lived in the modern era, attracted critics and people with his brave poems, as he is famous for his love and politics poetry.

He was inspired by the human heritage and summoned various heritage figures; in particular, he employed the Islamic figures in his poetry, especially the political ones.

I have followed this phenomenon in his poetry and extracted a scientific material to study the recruitment through which the researcher called this study: (Calling Islamic Figures in the Poetry of Nizar Qabbani.) The nature of the study required dividing it into an introduction, a list of seven demands, a conclusion and recommendations, and finally a list of sources and references.

This study adopted both the descriptive then the selective approachs for Nizar Qabbani’s poetic models the researcher used.

The most important findings in the research are: The purpose of Nizar’s recruitment of the characters and Islamic symbols is to awaken and raise the patriotic and national sense, and most of the characters mentioned in Nizar’s used poems are: rebel figures, positive, negative, composite, and others.
