Abstract EN

This study aimed at shedding the light on the Israeli educational policies and their impact on the cultural identity of the 48 Palestinians.

These policies have led to the weakening of the educational system of the 48 Palestinians as they embed the agendas of the Israeli Ministry of Education.

To achieve the research objectives, inductive, analytical and deductive research approach was used.

The research introduces suggestions for overcoming the challenges facing the preservation of the cultural identity of the 48 Palestinians.

The study revealed the policies of marginalization and exclusion of Arabs in the 48 occupied territories, through limiting their participation in drafting the educational policies.

The study recommended engaging the active civil institutions in the development process of educational policy, and renewing the educational discourse within the 48 Palestine, in order to promote the cultural identity of the Palestinians.

Moreover, the study recommended the participation of the Arabs in the development of the educational system to fulfill their aspirations and fair demands
