Abstract EN

This study sought to analyze grammatical errors in writing among students of King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah who finished the course (101 language skills), to know their types and repetitions, and to try to study their causes, evaluate them and propose recommendations to overcome them.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive method in this study which came in three sections: the first is its purpose, its questions, its society, its tools and its procedures, the second section is divided according to its questions, and the third section is devoted to discussing the results and interpreting the errors in which the students signed a linguistic interpretation.

The results of the study showed that the performance of the sample in grammatical skills were acceptable.

The grammatical errors and syntactic errors were (18) errors, totaling (190) errors, and by (1.73 %) of the total number of words written by the sample), and the study concluded with many suggestions and recommendations.
