The study at hand aims at identifying the model of the sociological approach to the Arabic novel, and its Palestinian sample, "Faisal Darraj," who attempted to interrogate the Arab novel and its characteristics and contexts betting on a social and realistic dimension and using Western references that were generally based on Marxist thought, especially those of Georg Lukacs, Lucien Goldmann and Mikhail Bakhtin.
