Writing skills are considered among the major skills that must be acquired by each learner.

Some researchers has identified for each stage of education specific skills that should be taught to learners at the right time.

The delay in learning them affects negatively the scientific growth of the learner in the following stages and makes him feel frustrated, failed, and feeling inferiority when he faces new information which he did not get ready before.

Therefore, he will not be able to progress because the learning of every skill depends on the competency of the previous basic skills.

The learners’ possession or acquisition of writing skills is necessary in various stages of learning, the present study tackles the strategies of teaching writing skills
