In the section : "The West and Us," we will read a study by the Sudanese researcher Majdi Izz Eldin Hasan under the title "The Critique of Colonialism from the Perspective of Edward Said." This study examines an important aspect in the modern studies of post- colonialism in particular of the critique related within the past four decades.

The researcher focused here on the project that the deceased Arab Palestinian intellectual, Edward Said, had launched about the neo-imperialism that this project manifested especially in his two well- known books "Orientalism" and "Culture and Imperialism."
