The American scholar Robert Andrew Ariel, a specialist in philosophy and physics, presents an essay entitled: “Theistic Proofs and Immanuel Kant: A Conflict Revisited”.

This article focuses on a very critical epistemological point in Kant’s philosophy which can be found in the presumption in his book “The Critique of Pure Reason” which states that theistic proofs can’t be formulated by their very nature.

Ariel attempts to deconstruct Kant’s presumption and provide evidence on its failure and invalidity because it presents the most serious obstacle facing any reasonable belief in God.
