Parliamentary opposition is necessary for democracy, in fact it seen as evidence of effectiveness of the ruling And as a sin of its democracy and also assure the political pluralism, Because it provides political alternatives to the electorate, and offers forward different views and policies from those offered by the government , and its presence in parliament allows the electorates to monitor the review of the government and accountability for the question and interrogation,..

Many constitution recognized the opposition and ensured them a number of rights ,and the ensure its effectiveness and its centrality in the constitutional institutions were placed in a solid constitutional and legal framework.

As for Algeria, the constitutional amendment in 2016 has strengthened the status of the opposition in Parliament and has devoted its new rights ,and placed in the institutional framework, as stated in the new Article 114 of the Constitution.
