English Abstract

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of adding Rosemary Leaves powder (RLP) in dietary supplement on broiler productive performance.

Two hundred and forty chicks of commercial strain 1 day old were used in this study the chick were individually weighed and randomly distributed into four treatments.

Each treatment included three replicates (20 chicks/replicate).The treatments were as follows: control (T1) (free of Rosemary Leaves powder), (T2) adding 25g /kg of Rosemary Leaves powder to the diet, (T3) adding 50g /kg of Rosemary Leaves powder to the diet, (T4) adding 75g /kg of Rosemary Leaves powder to the diet.

The results revealed that Compared to control, chicks provide for Rosemary Leaves powder showed bigger body weights, better weight gain, and superior feed conversion ratio during the experimental period .

Increasing the dietary levels of Rosemary powder more than 75g / kg higher growth and the digestibility of most nutrients.
