Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the current sites of private kindergartens in Baghdad city.

This study followed the analytical descriptive approach as well as the application of geographic information systems in order to reach the best results.

In order to complete all the requirements of this study, data and information were collected by fieldwork, In the city of Baghdad.

The study included an analysis of spatial distribution patterns of private kindergartens in terms of their proximity to each other.

The study also measured dispersion (standard distance).

The most important findings of the study were that most kindergartens In the city of Baghdad was established without taking into account the criteria set by the responsible authorities, and that the pattern of distribution of this Riyadh in the city of Baghdad, in general, dominated by the pattern, which leads to poor service, with some discrepancy for the neighborhoods, and concluded the study a number of solutions proposed and recommendations, As a whole, in the application of criteria for selecting kindergartens sites, which helps in improving and upgrading the levels of various services, especially educational services.

The results of the research show that the community of local kindergartens within a relatively small area and this area represents areas of population density, vital areas, and the commercial center of the city.

The study recommended that consideration should be given to areas that suffer from a shortage of kindergartens when establishing a new kindergarten.

This is done only by paying attention to the Department of Educational Planning, which is concerned with the distribution of services according to the criteria.
