Abstract EN
This research consists of an introduction, preface, three chapters and an ending.
The preface consists of two chapters; the first one explains the meaning of ismah in the language and its definition.
The comprehensive definition of ismah is that Allah safeguards and prevents His slave from committing sins in the first place, or that the slave continuous to commit them and does not repent thereafter.
This definition includes the prophets, messengers and others then them.
I also mentioned the differences between the ismah of the prophets The first and the second chapter explained the evidences mentioned by those who had the opinion of ismah and those who did not.
The third chapter examined the correct opinion regarding the ismah of the prophets and messengers.
The most important results that this chapter concluded are that the prophets and messengers are the best of their people and that is why Allah choose them.
That however, does not mean that the prophet was infallible before being a prophet.
It is important to make difference between a prophet who was raised between polytheists who did not receive da'wah and a prophet who was raised amongst believers with a shari'ah and had prophets among them.
It is impossible that they could fall into polytheism or unbelief and many of the sins that were prohibited in their laws; like the prophets of Banu Isra'il.
When it comes to the prophets that were raised amongst polytheist that did not have any prophets before them then it is not any defect, disgrace or shame if they used to have the same religion as their people like Shu'ayb, Ibrahim and Lut.
When it comes to the prophets that were raised amongst polytheists that followed some remaining parts of the religion of a former prophet then he is between those two mentioned categories.
Regarding to what was remaining from the former religion then it is apparent that he does not differ from it and regarding to other things then it should be something that is studied.
An example of this category is our prophet Muhammad , because Allah safeguarded our prophet Muhammad and preserved him from falling in to polytheism and worshiping statues, as well as Allah preserved him from committing a lot of sins and faults.
It is not necessary that all of the prophets were like that, because our prophet Muhammad was the best of all prophets and messengers.
The research ended with a comprehensive closure that mentioned the most important conclusions.
and the ismah of others from different angels; the first one is the foundation of the ismah, the second is the ruling of the ismah and the third regarding the sins that could be committed by the prophets and messengers and others than them.
The second chapter of the preface mentions the different opinions in general regarding the ismah of the prophets, some of them exaggerated in denying the ismah whilst others exaggerated in affirming it and between these two opinions are different levels and views.
