The separatist movements are entities that Adopts propositions for separation from homeland and establish a new homeland within the geographical boundaries of a component based on cultural or religious affiliations.

The Basque country has long fought with the Spanish government and people for secession and the formation of the Basque state between Spain and France, leading by ETA which considered as a terrorist organization that did all the violent armed activities from killing, bombing and kidnapping in order to achieve its goal.

Its activities had caused the killing of a hundreds, injured thousands of people, and damaged Spain's political stability for years.

But in the end preferred to give up arms and remain within the limits of autonomy granted to them and within the common identity of Spain and France and work to restore the social gap between the Basque people and the Spanish and French peoples in general and between the victims and the perpetrators of armed acts.
