اختبار علاقة التكامل المشترك بين أدوات السياسة النقدية و معدلات التضخم في الجزائر : دراسة تطبيقية للفترة 2001-2014

Abstract EN

The present study is an attempt to look at the effectiveness of monetary policy tools in dealing with the inflation rates and the relationship between monetary policy instruments and inflation rates in the Algerian economy during the period between 2001 and 2014.

The research relies on modern techniques used in economic measurements such as the preprocessing tests, the theory of joint integration as well as Granger’s tests of causality.

The results of the study demonstrate the existence of a long term equilibrium relationship between the instruments of monetary policy and the inflation rates in Algeria.

The study confirms the effectiveness of monetary policy tools that targets inflation.

It is thus in line with the claims of the Bank of Algeria and its claims to maintain the prices’ stability during the period studied
