The impact of internet addiction among the student In University of Bahri college of medicine science-2016

Abstract EN

This is descriptive study aimed to study the impact of internet addiction among the students of medicine - University of Bahri.

The internet is a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols.

And (264) of student selected as sample size from total number of study population (782) student.

The data was collected through questionnaires containing question regarding to the impact use of internet addiction, Data was analyzed by the statistical package for social science (SPSS).

The result indicator that 100% of the student selected are use the internet and have the impact of health that explained25.8% said yes they are feeling tired in their back bone, 46.2% effected by finger during use the internet in the reasons of the writing, 61.3% that show the students some times are feeling with effect in the neck, 48% impacted in eyes and 57% they said reduce the physical activity.

The impact of internet among the social relationships showed 43.8% is high, 39.6% is medium affected, but they not affected represented 16.7%.

And explained that disadvantage represented 38.3%.

The study recommends to the World of Health Organization(WHO) and the ministry of health should be conducting the health education program to the students toward the impact of the internet.

The World of Health Organization(WHO)must be recommended to the company of telecommunication to design the devices of internet to make the warning device to read the level of impact to the user.

The user of the internet must be use the away control device during the use internet to reduce the impact.
