This study aims at defining the attitude of female university students in the Social Studies Department of King Saud University, towards the skills, values and characteris-tics preferred for the successful female university professor.
It was based, theoretically, on interactive scientific theory personifying reactions between student and professor, each occupying different or equal social roles, in ad-dition to reactions summing up this relationship.
The field study was based on a class sample incorporating the department’s female students from levels 4 to 8, with differ-ent proportions chosen randomly amounting to 280 cases testing their stand through responses to a special questionnaire indicating the female student’s attitude towards skills, behavioral values, and personal characteristics preferred in a successful female university professor.
The study results indicated a positive trend with female university students regarding skills geared towards teaching process, against a negative trend towards personal char-acteristics personified in beauty, camaraderie and others.
These stands were correlated, towards these skills, values, and personal characteristics, with significant differences among the various levels of the study on the one side, and residence (country, city) on the other side.
The study concluded with recommendations, based on its results represented by the axis of the female professor herself, the university administration and the female university student, where the teaching process is integrated, determining dimensions of the preferred relationship between the female university student and successful female professor that makes up, relatively, the educational, moral and scientific leader all at once.
