Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the influence of using brainstorming strategy on the achievement of third Grade in the subject of sciences.

In order to achieve the goals of the study, achievement tests, which are consisted of 50 paragraphs, have been used and applied on a sample of students who are selected by purposive sample.

They are divided into two groups: the first is a control group consists of 32 students taught traditionally during the academic year 2014- 2015.

Whereas, the second group is experimental that consists of 33 students and is taught using the brainstorming strategy.

Results showed that there is a statistically significant effect of using brainstorming strategy on student achievement.

The study recommends developing students’ cognition by using brainstorming strategy in teaching sciences the through applying several activities.
