Abstract EN

Objectives : This study aimed to investigate the association between psychological resilience and the big five model of personality traits (extra version, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neurotic ism and openness to expenence)among special education needs (SEN) student teachers in Eg\pt and explore the association between the big five model of personality traits related to a high and a low level of psychological resilience.

Resilience questionnaire (Radwan, 2015) and personality traits questionnaire (Khariba, 2008) were applied to (80) SEN student-teachers from School of Education Zagazig University m Eg\pt.

The participants aged 19-24 years, with a mean age of 20.5 (SD= 3.53).

Hie findings illustrated tliat:l) Special Education needs student-teachers in Eg\pt showed high level of psychological resilience (92.25%); 2) There is statistically significant positive correlation between psychological resilience and the big five factors of personality traits at (0.05)among special education needs student teachers m Egypt.
