Abstract EN

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify the impact of Emotional Intelligence (EI) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among administrative employees at Taif University.

Also it aimed to identify their level of Emotional Intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior in addition, it also aimed at identifying the nature of the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior.

The study was conducted on a sample of (120) employees working in Taif University.

The most important findings of this study are the presence of the impact of emotional intelligence in organizational citizenship behavior and the presence of a positive correlation statistically significant between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and the organizational citizenship behavior relationship.

Based on the findings of the study a number of recommendations have been proposed.

The most important of which is the work on investment in administrative leadership at university, which is the main engine in motivating employees and promoting the most influential leadership styles in their behavior.

It also considered organizational citizenship behavior one of the important criteria for the purposes of granting merit to reach senior positions at Taif University.
