Abstract EN

This study investigates the role of social networks in developing social responsibility among University of Jordan students and explores the effect of gender, college, and study year on this role.

The researcher developed an instrument consisted of (46) items which applied on a random sample included (357) undergraduate students who enrolled in the university of Jordan.

The current study followed descriptive analytical approach.

Results revealed that the role level of social networks in developing social responsibility was high and there was no statistical significant of the three study variables.

In light of the study findings, the researcher recommends that paying more attention on students being aware of using social networks which may benefit themselves and their societies.
