Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying contribution of psychological defeatism dimensions in predicting attitude towards sexual harassment, as well as the differences between individuals with high and low attitudes towards sexual harassment in psychological defeatism and the differences of personality dynamics and psychological structure of the two extremes of attitude towards sexual harassment from the perspective of clinical study.

Sample of the study consisted of (320) student of male university students, while the sample of the clinical study of extreme cases.

The tools of the study included the psychological defeatism scale and attitude towards sexual harassment scale prepared by the researcher.

Clinical tools included the interview and a group of T.A.T charts.

The study results indicated : there is a statistically significant positive correlation between Psychological defeatism and attitude towards sexual harassment, it can be predicted of attitude towards sexual harassment among individuals of the sample through identifying their scores in dimensions of Psychological defeatism, there are statistically significant differences between individuals with high and low attitudes towards sexual harassment in Psychological defeatism favoring individuals with positive attitude.

The clinical results coincide with psychometric results, but clinical results showed the cause of contribution of psychological defeatism dimensions in attitude towards sexual harassment.
