Abstract EN

This study aims to provide analytical study on the transsexuality patterns in Omar ibn Abi Rabia poetry according to the concepts provided by Gerard Genette, trying to stand on the aspects of novelty and tradition in his erotic poetry in general, and his poetical stories in particular.

It also aims to mention what the researchers studied about the anecdotal events completed by Omar bin Abu Rabia in order to prove or disprove this fact.

Furthermore, this study deals with types of renewal approached in his poetical stories and his attempts to abandon the mantle of tradition, as accused by some researchers.

The aim here is to investigate the extent of realizing the model authority in his poetical stories, whether this model is internal or external, in addition to the effects of that on his poetic art.

The researcher uses the descriptive approach in addition to using some statistics to demonstrate some goals and tools used by the research.
