The present study aimed to determine the level of academic boredom among high school students in the light of some variables.
And to detect the differences in the level of academic boredom according to the variable of the academic specialization (scientific / literary).
To achieve the objectives of the study, the criterion of "facilitating the birth" (2013) was based on 31 paragraphs divided into three fields.
A sample of (100) students in the city of Ouargla - for the academic year 2017/2018 were chosen randomly.
Using the statistical methods of (T test for one sample, T test for two independent samples), the following results were obtained: - The level of academic boredom in the study sample is high.
- There are statistically significant differences in academic boredom according to the variable of study specialization.
To be interpreted in light of the theoretical framework and previous studies related to the subject of the study.
