Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the general social strains, coping strategies and stigmatization encountered by before consummation divorced in Jordan (Tafileh and Karak governorates).

Moreover, it aims to identify the demographic, social and economic characteristics of before consummation divorced women.

Finally, to examine the impact of social stains on before consummation divorcees and successful marriage according (Age, educational level, housing, number of family members, work, social status).

A total participants of (320) of them (160) divorced, and (160) married women were chosen by the random way, taking into account that the category of before consummation divorcees.

The successful marriage category were sisters of the before consummation divorcees.

The results showed that before consummation divorcees were more likely to suffer from public strains than women with successful marriages, that before consummation divorcees were stigmatized, less self-esteem, less discriminated against than married women.
