الفرق الصوفية في الجزائر من منظور المستشرقين : "سبنسر ترمنجهام" و "شارل أندري"

Abstract EN

Our goal of this research is to show one side – of the general Orientalism lesson- only and to reveal it from the (French and English) perspective of the sufi paths in Algeria from the eighteenth to the nineteenth century, such as El Kaderia, Chedhelia, El Djazoulia, Errahmania, El Tijania, El Derkaouia and ESnoussia, and to reveal everything about it as its leaders, social and political practice and its resistance against the colonized.

So we have asked the following question- how far can we believe what orientalists have written about these paths؟ to answer this question we present the results of the two mentioned orientalist schools which are: the British “Spenser Termengham” his book “Sufi groups in Islam “and the French “ Charl Andrey Juliane” his book “ North Africa going” then we track what they wrote about Sufi Paths in Algeria and reveal their method by showing the wrong and the right in it in comparative method and in an objective way.
