Abstract EN

This study aims at shedding light on an important economic phenomenon which is the financial crisis infection, which has been exacerbated and greatly increased in recent decades, especially since the collapse of the Bretton Woods system, so this phase was characterized by a growing wave of financial liberalization and the emergence of innovations and the integration of financial markets at the international level.

The study found that there are several types of the phenomenon of financial infection and there are also several channels through which the crisis passes from one country to another The study also allowed us to conclude that the financial crisis of 2007-2008 was the best example of the consolidation of the phenomenon of contagion of financial crises in the global economy, as the crisis quickly moved from the country of origin in the United States to a large number of countries in a short time through Specific channels.
