Abstract EN

This descriptive study aimed to indentify the quality of life for The Families of Mental disabilities Children.

The researchers used the description method .The study population included the families of mental disabilities children at Khartoum locality.

The Researchers using two tools preliminary data.

Quality of life, which the world Health Organization scale localization Bushra Ahmed (2008).

It was applied to a randomized stratified sample of (71) members of families of mentally disabilities children.

The researchers then carried out several statistical treatments for their data by software(SPSS).Where have reached the following results general characteristic of the quality of life for families of mentally disabilities children at Khartoum locality characterized by negativity .There is relationship negative correlation statistically significant difference between the quality of life and the degree of disability in children families.

No statistically significant differences in the quality of life for families mentally disabilities of children depending on the variable type (Male.

Female) and the health status.

There are significant differences in the quality of life for families for children with mentally disabilities differences depending on the level of educational and the variable economic level.
