Abstract EN

This study aims to examine the role of waqf in the financing of economic growth in Algeria.

For this purpose, we discussed the concept of waqf and the Algerian experience of waqf, as well as the evolution of waqf revenues during the period 1999- 2013, as we discussed the evolution of gross domestic product, excluding hydrocarbons, over the same period (1999-2013).

The study showed the low positive impact of waqf revenues on the country's non-hydrocarbon GDP.
