The discourse of Sheikh Al-Bashir Al-Ibrahimi is characterized by eloquence ,conciseness ,strength of structure ,clarity of subject , depth of meaning and precision in the choice of words and knowledge of the purpose of discourse ,and quotation from qur’an ,hadith and poetry .

this study deals with the pragmatic analysis of a press article published by Sheikh Al-Ibrahimi in 1948 under the title : Party crime on education and science .

the study begins with the problem of revealing the semantic of the implicit discourse and the indirect speech acts employed by the writer to inform his intentions .

The study deals with the pragmatic interpretation and the analysis of this discourse in the contexte of the social and historical contexts and knowledge of the situation and relations between the sender and receivers and the evidence that employs an argumentative point that aims to affect the interlocutors by pushing them to adopt the proposals and orientation
