Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the reality of educational supervision at the secondary schools of Formal Private Education Network in Somalia (FPENS) in Mogadishu and discovering the methods and supervisory patterns in the schools.

The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method and used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data.

The results of the study revealed that there are variances of statistical significance in the reality of educational supervision of secondary schools of FPENS in Mogadishu from the point of views of teachers and supervisors and head teachers according to the variables of qualification, experience, and job.

The results showed also the most predominant supervisory methods at secondary schools in Mogadishu are sudden classroom visits
