Abstract EN

This research aims at using a method of meta-analysis of researches and previous studies to determine the effect of Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) in the achievement and some thinking skills, (knowledge, skills – attitudes) to come out with conclusions and generalizations, which can be relied upon in decision-making about the recruitment of educational software, and its use in various educational levels.

A meta-analysis is a type of data analysis in which the results of several studies, are lumped together and analyzed as if they were the results of one large study and the Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL): Includes drill and practice, tutorials, simulations, and virtual realities and virtual reality, problem solving, and artificial intelligence, expert systems, which are designed to help students learn effectively.The results of the study confirmed the effectiveness of CAL in the development dependent variables in the present study .
