the temple of educational texts in Babylon The temple of Nabu Shakliari is discovered recently it lies within a hall that has been never excavated by the German exploring expedition that worked in Babylon between 1899- 1914.

This temple is dis tinguished by its typical building plan and the great number of educational texts that had been found in its rooms which confirms that the temple was a school in addition to its religious function.

These texts give an idea about the nature of education in the cities of Mesopotamia especially in Babylon.
