Abstract EN

This research is dedicated to study Bano Elmuet, an inveterate family in the science and policy.

Their roots belong to Bani Umayyad from Quraish and exactly to Uqba Bin Abi Muet Aban bin Abi Amro bin Umayya bin Abdushams.

They played an important role in the political, scientific, and administrative life in Andalus.

The study will be handled on three main axis, the first one is dedicated to talk about the parentage of Bani Elmuet and how they moved to Andalus.

In the second axis we discussed their political role which is represented by the inauguration of Abu Abdulrahman Abdullah bin Alwaleed bin Mohammed Almuety to be the Khalif of Muslims in the west Andauls.

The third axis we talked about their effect by enriching the public life in Andalus through their products from big scholars with significant scientific effort in the fields of authoring or in the field of science meetings for science and knowledge in addition to their position for Umayyad Khalifs and princes by occupying important positions like Shura council and others.
