Abstract EN

The major crises in the contemporary Arab societies are caused by the discriminatory policies of their regimes, Iraq is an obvious example.

Since the American and International coalition occupation in 2003, Iraqi society has been undergoing many crises because of its new governments.

Sectarianism has emerged, deepening loyalty to the sect instead of loyalty to the national identity and finding discord and conflicts within the society itself .

This made the Iraqi society weak.

Violence in all its forms prevailed.

The army and security institutions collapsed, while armed militias took over the actual rule of the country.

Productivity and benefits of Iraqi wealth became absent.

Therefore, many provinces rebelled as protest against these circumstances.

The aim of this research is to study the discriminatory political system and its resulted violence in Iraqi society.

In the conclusion we have tried to give some suggestions and solutions to the problem as a narrowing the role of clerics and tribesmen in the political issue and activating the role of intellectuals and academics to stimulate economic and political technocratic institutions, and then deterring the militias and issuing explicit laws to prevent them and ban on carrying weapons in incontinent.
