The study aimed at identifying the challenges facing teachers in the use of multimedia in teaching Islamic education in Iraq.

The sample of the study consisted of (138) teachers within the Directorate of Education in Anbar province.

To implement the study, researchers used questionnaire to collect data related to the study objective.

The results showed that the teachers' view of the challenges facing them in the use of multimedia in the teaching of Islamic education was (High), where the general arithmetic average of the responses of the sample of the study (3.43) and the standard deviation (0.55).

It is an arithmetic mean that falls within the second category of the five-dimensional Likert scale.

It was also noted that there was a difference in the degree of response of the study members to the paragraphs that measure the teachers' view of the challenges facing them in the use of multimedia in the teaching of Islamic education, where the average responses of the sample of the study after the multimedia between (2.43 to 4.13).

These arithmetic averages fall within the second, third, fourth, and fifth categories of the five-dimensional Likert scale, which indicate responses (low, medium, high).

Researchers attribute this finding to the teachers' awareness that the introduction of multimedia into the learning resource rooms does not mean learning and learning, depending largely on the ability to appropriately employ the media in the appropriate educational situation.

The results also showed no significant difference Statistics in the average response of teachers to the challenges facing them in the use of multimedia in the teaching of Islamic education attributed to any variable of scientific qualification and variable experience with a value of statistical significance level (0.338, 0.378), respectively.

In the light of the results, the study came out with several recommendations and suggestions.
