In his study entitled “The Post-Image Era”, the Egyptian researcher Hamada Ahmad Ali tackles the socio-philosophical aspects of media in Post-Modernism.

The title indicates the problem that Western individuals are facing in particular and modern communities in general, namely the impossibility of achieving certainty in the era of electronic technology.

Ali strives to confront this problem by referring to the scientific project presented by German researcher Mark Hansen which is dubbed as the “codification of bodies”.
