Abstract EN

Time is one of the most important levers in the formation of the verb in Arabic language.

It occupies a prominent place in the linguistic studies.

On this basis, this research is conducted, which is entitled “morphological and grammatical time of the verb in Arabic language”.

This research deals with a linguistic issue which is of a great importance.

That is the extent of the verb commitment to its original time, known as morphological or formula time, and the possibility of shifting to another time utilizing from context, or verbal or abstract clues, accompanying it and called grammatical or contextual time.

The researcher offers a new interpretation of the time in a verb.

This time changes according to different enclosures added to it.

The subject has grammatical dimensions and demonstrative purposes in the script of context baptizing the speaker.

It reveals one of the facets of high-capacity of the Arabic language in the expression of diverse times in verb to disprove the idea that criticizes Arabic language for the lack of formulations and implications of time.
