Abstract EN

This study removes the ambiguity of the biography of a scholar from Jerusalem who was infamous before the Nakba: Sheikh Ali ibn Al-Maqdisi, Sheikh of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine.

This study shows religious interrelationships in his poem "The Message of the Sacred expressions in Islamic Ethics".

The study revealed that Sheikh Ali had filled in his poem of one hundred and thirty-four lines the summary of Islamic ethics to make it a unique work, addressed to his son Muhammad Saeed.

And religious values contained in this poem nominate it for studying and researching , and the graduation of Quranic verses, and the noble prophetic traditions contained in the poem, in order to save it from extinction, and many of our Palestinian sacred literary heritage had perished before and after the Nakba
